FRAMINGHAM, MA – November 16, 2018 – Definitive Healthcare, the leading provider of data, intelligence, and analytics on the healthcare provider market, was honored with its second consecutive Best Places to Work recognition at the Boston Globe Awards Ceremony, held at the Grand Boston, and in the Boston Globe Magazine this weekend. Among almost 3,000 employers in Massachusetts invited to participate in the Best Places to Work survey, Definitive Healthcare ranked in the top 10 for the mid-sized company category, representing companies with 100-250 employees.
This most recent accolade comes after a year of strong recognition, during which Definitive Healthcare was identified within the top five Best Places to Work in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal, for the second year in a row, and ranked 11th out of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Massachusetts by the same publication. The Company was also recognized in the top 15 percent of fastest-growing companies by Inc. 5000, and within the top third of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500.
“As far as I’m concerned, the Best Places to Work awards are the most prestigious ones out there. Receiving this award is indicative of the effort, energy, and enthusiasm of so many amazing individuals who support our customers each and every day,” said Jason Krantz, Founder and CEO of Definitive Healthcare. “Every achievement we have had in this incredible year of innovation and growth is due entirely to the hard work, collaboration, and dedication of the entire Definitive Healthcare team. It is an incredible honor to be in such good company.”
The Boston Globe Best Places to Work assessment determines employee satisfaction based on 24 unique factors, from compensation to confidence in corporate vision and business direction. Outside of traditional leadership and engagement best practices, Definitive Healthcare sets the gold standard for its culture and employee well-being with unique programs like DefinitiveCares, a charitable organization run by Definitive Healthcare, which builds morale, collaboration, respect, and comradery through service. Since its inception in 2015, 100 percent of the company’s employees have contributed hundreds of service hours and raised thousands of dollars for community efforts.
“Attracting and retaining the best and brightest as you grow a business is critically important — and becoming increasingly challenging,” Krantz said. “In this landscape, culture matters more than ever, and our amazing work environment is a strong tribute to our employees.
