Top hospitals in Oklahoma by net patient revenue 

With over four million people calling it home, Oklahoma is the 28th-most populous state in the U.S.  According to Definitive Healthcare data, Oklahoma has roughly 169 hospitals and 40 integrated delivery networks (IDNs).

We have created a list of the top 20 hospitals in Oklahoma based on net patient revenue (NPR) using HospitalView. NPR is the amount of money a hospital generates from patient services through commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare—it is a standard metric for the financial performance of healthcare organizations.

What Oklahoma hospitals have the highest net patient revenue?  

The Oklahoma hospital with the highest net patient revenue is OU Health – University of Oklahoma Medical Center (OU Medical Center), with an NPR of more than $1.6 billion. OU Medical Center is the only comprehensive academic hospital in Oklahoma, as well as the only Level I trauma center within the state. They also have Oklahoma’s only comprehensive bone marrow transplant center and more radiation therapy options than any other OK hospital.  

The hospital with the second highest NPR in Oklahoma is Saint Francis Hospital, with an NPR of about $1.4 billion. It is the anchor of the Saint Francis Health System and Tulsa’s top hospital. According to U.S. News & World Report, they are the #1 hospital in Oklahoma and have a high performance in 12 procedures and conditions, some of which include heart attack and failure care, diabetes management, and kidney failure treatment.  

INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center has the third-highest net patient revenue in Oklahoma, with an NPR of $1 billion. They offer pediatric care, women’s health care, surgical services, emergency care, and cardiology services. They are also dedicated to improving their community’s health and well-being by supporting various outreach programs and partnerships.
