What Nevada hospitals have the highest net patient revenue?
The Nevada hospital with the highest NPR is the Renown Regional Medical Center, which is a part of the Renown Health IDN, along with the #15 and #19 hospitals on our list. The Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV, is a teaching hospital with a general medical and surgical facility. It has an annual NPR of more than $867 million, has over 500 beds, and discharges more than 25,000 patients a year.
The Renown Regional Medical Center is also ranked by the U.S. News & World Report as the #1 hospital in Nevada and is high performing in 11 procedures and conditions, including colon cancer surgery, heart attack/failure management, and kidney failure treatment.
In second place, based on NPR, is the University Medical Center (UMC) of Southern Nevada, which has an NPR of $848 million. This facility houses Nevada’s only Level 1 trauma center, a verified burn center, and a transplant center.
Finally, the third place slot belongs to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, which is the largest HCA hospital in Las Vegas, with over 700 beds and an NPR of $839 million. This hospital is affiliated with hospitals in Baltimore, Chicago, Israel, Metro DC, New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia.
