What is a VA hospital?
A VA hospital is a medical center that provides healthcare services to war veterans and other retired military personnel. VA hospitals offer a wide variety of services that are mindful of veterans’ life experiences, such as physical therapy, surgery and psychological services. Many healthcare providers work within the VAMCs, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, dentists and patient advocates.
