These are just two of several healthcare IT trends that swept conversations at HIMSS19 this year. Attendees, exhibitors, and presenters proposed solutions to interoperability challenges, assessed the merit of telehealth technologies, and analyzed the latest cybersecurity threats. For instance, 50 percent of hospitals have implemented a telehealth solution. While new analytics implementations decreased by 42 percent, facilities continue to upgrade their existing solutions.
